Happy Birthday USA!

In my mind, this is the most important holiday that we have.  And in fact, today needs to be a day of thanksgiving.  We need to be thankful for the Founding Fathers, who had such great foresight as to see what kind of country we could make.  We need to be thankful for those who fought and died in the wars for independence, to keep the union together, and for those who kept us safe from tyranny.  We need to be thankful for those who stayed at home and built the comfortable, healthy homes we live in.

Most of all, I believe it is important to be thankful for the fact that the fireworks we fire off are shot in celebration and not in anger.  We need to pray that continues long into the future.
